I stopped eating food that contains MSG--which means that I can't eat a lot of packaged foods. I did this to see if I would stop having headaches (I did), and to my amazement I have been experiencing the side effect of weight loss. I've lost about 10-12 pounds since January.
I gave up processed sugar (mostly desserts and chocolate and good stuff) about 6 weeks ago--I'm still hesitant to share--because I don't trust myself just yet.
I'm loosing a half pound to pound a week--so I am happy. I did it also just to feel better and some other things--and that's definitely happening!
Good for you, JB!! I still eat some sweet stuff--not as much as I used to though, and the only thing I ever eat out of the snack machine at work is animal crackers.
I tried on another pair of pants last night, and they fit too!

So, are you going to tell us what you did to achieve such an incredible feat??

Very inspiring ladies. And what a wonderful parallel to our lives as disciples. Hmmm... a little sacrifice can be very good for us in the long haul.
