It's really great that the federal government has set aside today to celebrate my husband, Luther's, birthday, and there will even be parades in his honor!

I gave him a hard time.
I usually just get him a card, but this year I didn't even have the chance to do that because we've been together almost constantly since the week before Christmas.
His sinus surgery is today. Pray that he stays calm.
I am as I type.
Surgery went well. He's napping right now after having two pain pills. Incredibly, he's breathing through his nose.
Hope he's still doing well!
At some points he feels better, and at some times he doesn't feel so well. I think he's a little frustrated that it's taking so long to be able to breathe well. Also, since he's never taken pain pills, he's feeling pretty wierd.
I haven't had much time to read blogs lately, otherwise I would have worn my birthday party hat.
I seem to remember seeing you in your party hat, Mugsy. I wonder if you have a cute birthday suit to go with it?
