March to Justice?
How can a man be charged with the murder of his wife and abuse of a corpse when no corpse has ever been found, and no evidence of foul play had been discovered?
Is there a specific case you are speaking about? It sounds like a hard case to prove to me. Then, people get emotional and want someone blamed. Our legal system can be scary. JB
Yeah, this is a Nashville case. The woman went missing about 10 years ago, and husband was the prime suspect. However, no one could prove anything because there was no body and no evidence of a murder. Now the police say they have enough evidence to arrest him (they won't say what it is), but they still don't have a body.
CBS's "48 Hours" did a story on it: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/10/31/48hours/main527690.shtml
I am going to have to ask aggie-ed how to do that when he gets in next week--I would love to know the tag on links. I will pass it along when he enlightens me if you like?
Wierd case--what do you think? The guy should be/or not be arrested?
There are a lot of coincidences that make him look guilty, but I've always heard that you can't base a case on stuff like that. I don't know. I'm just not sure it's right to accuse someone of murder when there's no corpse to prove it. If that's the case, then the police can just assume that anyone who disappears is murdered and try to pin it on someone.
This makes me wonder what will happen in the Natalee Holloway case. She is still "missing" no proof that she is dead or alive. I can't imagine how painful this is for her parents. :(
HTML is the format the template for your blog is in. For great examples of how to do things, find an example on a web page and then right click on the page, and choose view source. You will then see the source code that is generating that web page.
Thanks for the insight, Preston. I'm interested to see what the evidence is as well. If he did it, he's done an awfully good job of covering it up for this long.

I have always heard it is almost impossible to prove murder without a body.

Thanks for the tips. I'm working on the website for my classes now.
I can't believe school starts in a little over three weeks.
